How to get there?
From Candon, we rode a van for 15 pesos. For just 15-20 minutes, we arrived at Santiago, Ilocos Sur and along the national road, we immediately picked up a tricycle going to Biak na Bato, Ambucao near Santiago Cove. It took us another 20 minutes to reach the said place.
A clear body of water and a blue sky met us after paying just 5 pesos entrance fee.
Going down in this place by taking the ladder formed by the rocks, we witnessed this relaxing view.
Why "Biak na Bato"?
It is so called Biak na Bato because of the formation of these two rocks shown below. It is like "nabiyak" in tagalog. You'll think it's a cave but actually these are just huge rocks.
The star fish on the sand caught our attention.
My squad who experienced unwinding at Biak na Bato with me
I enjoyed the white sands. It's like massaging my feet.
A slice of paradise.
I and my friends had a great adventure and surely you will too. Biak na Bato is just accessible especially when you are really interested to see a new scenery and experience a new adventure.
